I'm sure other people are having the same issue and aparently updating the drive won't work. I tried running as ADM, reinstalling, running in compatibility mode, and many other things. When i start the game, it gaves me the black screen from hell, no sound and even if i press buttons or leave it for like an hour, nothing will work. This definitely fixed the issue and now I can highly recommend this game. Just a quick download and update to the C++.
I early found the issue (like many others) of long load screens (+10 min) and I almost quit the game entirely for as much as I liked it.
